3-D CATS IN HATS OPINE ON PINES

The 3-Ds have taken their winter fashion to new heights, i.e., each of them is sitting on a bench while posing in their hats and scarves, instead of only being at ground level.  They have truly elevated themselves, don't you think?

Dante is wearing an orange, gray, and beige plaid trappurr's hat with the ear flaps up.  He has found a warm dark gray woollen neckwarmer that pairs quite well with it.

Dante is surrounded by evergreens, and with them the inevitable pine cones.

"Wen it snows da site is kwite incompurrable", opines he.

Dylan's wearing a warm wool winter toque in greens and black, along with a multi-coloured neckwarmer which really keeps the chill away from that throat of his.  He's had a bit of a cold lately, so this is quite impawtant.

Dylan is pining for his fiance, Halle and even the birds seem to be sympathetic.  Dylan finds the sparkling snow very romantic which only deepens his yearning.

"Dis pinecone is a symbol of my love fur yoo, Halle!" says Dylan while continuing to pine away.

Domino is on the back deck, all decked out in royal blue.  Since she fancies herself as royalty, she is quite thrilled with this choice of colour.  Her hat is a wool pillbox style complete with pearl brooch adornment, and she is wearing a coordinating handknit scarf.

Domino simply adores the smell of the pine trees.  She never has a chance to pine for them because they are right in her own back yard.

"Who needs purrfume wen yoo has nachur at yoor doorstep!" says she.

DYLAN HERE AND THERE AND EFURRYWHERE!

Dylan doesn't like to stay in one place for very long.

HERE's Dylan on the front walk taking a whiff along the way.

HERE's Dylan on the back patio making his way through a snowdrift.

THERE's Dylan taking a turn on the front bench.

THERE's Dylan taking refuge from the falling snow under the deck bench in the back yard.

Dylan has no bounds.  He's EFURRYWHERE even if it means he has to tresPUSS on the neighpurr's property!

And now, HERE's a PAWS in the action!

3-D CATS IN HATS LOVE LIFE IN THE WILD!

The 3-Ds are outdoors again even though the weather has turned quite cold.  They're all about fresh air.  Luckily they dress warmly enough so they can actually enjoy the experience.

Dante's in a red and black plaid trappurr's hat with coordinating black plaid wool scarf.  Because of the dip in the temPURRature, he's even wearing tan coloured, fleece-lined Uggs on his feet, and cute tiger mittens on his front paws.

One thing he always looks forward to seeing outdoors is the winter wildlife.  In this case the vibrant cardinal can't help but catch his attention.

Dante wishes he could catch one so he can observe it up-close and PURRSonal.
I, on the other paw, hope he can't!

Dylan's out in the cold and ice with his head covered in a warm gray wool knitted hat with mouse ears.  He has a matching wool scarf fastened with a cat and mouse pin.  On his front paws he has mousie mittens with matching sock boots on his back feet.

Dylan just adores playing cat and mouse; so much so that he carries one (a mouse, that is) around in his hat when he's outdoors.

However, for Dylan, the real fun starts once he's home again and the hat comes off.

"Let da games begin!" shouts he in glee.

Even though the weather is bleak, Domino brightens up the scenery in her purple wool newsgirl cap with matching mitts and socks.  She's wearing a warm blue and mauve knit scarf around her neck for extra-added warmth.

Domino likes to meet up with her rabbit furiends when she's on an outing.  They seem a little disturbed by the weather, especially the one in the pot.  Domino has brought a couple of hats from her collection for each of them to wear.

The little tan bunny is cozier now in his fleece leopard hat, and the little tuxy rabbit seems to be enjoying her knit black and white penguin toppurr.  It really goes with her complexion, after all.

This tiny bunny is still blue, however, because Domino forgot to bring her a hat.
Don't worry little one, Domino's got lots more where that came from.

Look -- she's got a sherPAW hat just fur you!

A 3-D MONDAY MORALITY TAIL

Dante is known for sticking his nose up other kitties' butts.

However, this PURRactice is not always met with enthusiasm.

Rather than suffer continued humiliation, the victim most often chooses to flee.

So the moral of this tail is:

"Don't ever stick your tail up in the air when Dante's about because HE'S all about sticking his nose up yours."

VALENTINE'S DAY 2016 IN 3-D!

It's Valentine's Day, and for the 3-Ds that means getting together with their signifiCAT others!

Dante is dressed as a southern dandy in his ivory and taupe top hat.  He has paired this with a brown, rust and yellow bowtie with an orange and white heart pinned at its centre.

The beautiful ladycat is Dante's fiance, Sascha, who is wearing a gorgeous apricot Sinamay hat.  This, and her stunning necklace, complement her colouring PURRfectly.

Sascha, who hails from South Carolina, is a true southern belle.  And indeed Dante's intentions are to ring that bell, as many times as pawsible this Valentine's Day!

To begin with he has created this romantic Valentine cardm (above) for Sascha that expresses the lengths and depths of his love for her.

Here Sascha displays her natural beauty in a recent photo which she has turned into a Valentine for her beloved fiance, Dante.

What a handsome and romantic couple they make!

Dylan, too, is dressed as a southern gent in his black leather top hat bearing a winged heart.  His bowtie leaves no doubt as to the occasion.  He is also packing an archer's bow and seems to have landed his arrow in his beloved's hat!

Dylan is visiting his finance, Halle, in Louisiana.  He has created this remarkable Valentine for her.  Halle is wearing a red heart-shaped fascinator hat which has been pierced by Dylan's love.  (All I can say is, it's a good thing she wore that hat high up on her head!)

On her part, Halle has created this fantastic photo album as her Valentine for Dylan (see below).

The album contains pictures from some of their most romantic dates.  They really enjoy getting out and about together as you can see!

I wonder what romantic interlude awaits them tonight.

Domino, too, is having a Valentine rendez-vous with her longtime beau, Milo who lives in The Cotswolds in England.

As they are both tuxedo cats, they have coordinated their Valentine's fashion to complement their native black and white.  Domino is wearing a black and white dress with a tule skirt, topped with a beautiful white floral hat with black accents.  She also has a sterling silver heart necklace around her dainty neck, befitting the occasion.

Milo is sporting a white fedora with black band and an abstract black and white bowtie with a red heart inset in the middle.

Milo has a surprise outing planned for Domino tonight, so for now it's a secret.  So hush!

Domino made this special Valentine for Milo which leaves no doubt about her FURvent feelings for him.

Have a great time with your loved ones today, efurryone!

3-D CATS IN HATS WITH WINTER BIRDS

The 3-Ds change their hats and scarves efurrytime they go outside.  They wouldn't want to be seen in the same thing twice now, would they?

That's how you know they are true fashionistas!

Dante's in a red suede cabbie-style cap which is luckily large enough to cover his deliCAT ears.  He is also wearing a bright multi-striped neckwarmer to keep his throat warm.  You want to keep those vocal chords ready for any emergency.  You never know when you're gonna have to yell for Mama at the top of your lungs.

These birds of a feather -- English robins they be -- are attracted to Dante's winter colours.  They are actually a Valentine's gift for Domino from her English beau, Milo, but Dante has been tasked to care for them until then.

Let's just hope that Dante's PURRimal instincts don't emerge in the meantime!
"I fink dey mite taste berry, berry good", thinks he silently.

Dylan's sporting a blue, white, red and purple knitted Transformers hat with a multi-coloured pom-pom on top.  And he's all wrapped up in his red wool snowflake scarf to keep the chill away.

One thing he doesn't want to keep away is those bluebirds who have gathered around the front porch. They are one type of bird that doesn't mind the winter, and Dylan isn't prepared to wait until Spring for his other feathery furiends to return.

These bluebirds are rather wired up, though -- you might even say they're hyPURR!
All the better to elude capture, methinks.

Domino is still stuck on her owl theme from last week.  She went out and bought a second owl scarf in gray tones with decorations of the colourful birds all over it.  She has paired this with a wool toque in bright pink, gray and white stripes.

Happily indulging in her latest fetish, all she has to say about this is ...

... Owlaylooyah!!!

DYLAN: A TURN OF EVENTS!

Dylan's out there knee deep in snow.

He looks to see if there is a way forward ...

 ... but there isn't.
"Wot duz I do now?" he asks himself.

There's only one thing that makes any sense -- and that is -- a hard RIGHT turn.
"I always likes to do da RITE fing", says he with confidence.

After all, how can one go wrong with doing right?

3-D CATS IN HATS IN THE GREAT OUTDOORS!

The 3-Ds are enjoying the milder, sunnier weather and spending more and more time outdoors these days.

Here is Dante in his dark blue tweed cap with navy winter scarf adorned with snowflakes and reindeer.

He's hiking in the woods nearby where he can enjoy one of his all-time favourite passtimes -- BIRDWATCHING!

While human males love to watch chicks, feline 3-D males prefer to watch chick-a-Ds!

Dylan is sporting a deer-trimmed trappurr hat and a brown fleece scarf with pom-poms around his neck.  He's out looking for deer so it's a good thing his hat is only faux fur.  If you want to make furiends, it's not a good idea to wear their relatives on your head.

Dylan better be quiet or it could cost him deerly!

Domino, too, is out in the woods looking for birds (except she wants to do more than just watch them!).  She is wearing a chunky deep red wool hat with a brown owl's feather hanging from its peak. She has paired this with a white, brown and red fleece neckerchief adorned with pictures of owls.

We think Domino's owlish attire has kept all the little birds away and that is really for the best.  After all "owl's well that ends well" isn't it?
